This has caused a “could not be updated” error and I am not able to see people’s calendars who are on O Is there a way to sync the two versions of Outlook, so that I can see someone else’s calendar. Also, you may need to check whether people in the group can open group calendar in Outlook client. This is the only group calendar that has this issue, though it works fine on OWA. All members of the group have the same issue with this calendar. And we have many important information on that calendar and I cannot just delete that group and create a new one.
I also tried to uncheck my account’s exchange cache mode, and restarted outlook, but it did not help. And when I click on the properties of that group from outlook client it shows this message “Cannot display the folder properties. The folder may have been deleted or the server where the folder is stored may be unavailable. Cannot display folder properties. As far as I can tell, his permissions are pretty normal in active directory and he is a part of the Outlook Calendar Group. Is there something else I am missing? His personal calendar seems to be fine also by the way. Might sound stupid but did the user add and enable the calendar?
Just because you gave permission doesn’t mean the calendar gets added automatically at least not in our enviroment. I can add the calendar to his Outlook, but he gets the “could not be updated” message in the title of the calendar.
